- Lobsters, what ever size you like but try to keep them close in size so cooking time won’t vary.
- Fresh water
- Sea salt
- Find a large pot that will hold the Lobster . Pour 1 inch of water into the pot & add a handful of salt. Taste the water, to make sure it is salty. Bring to a boil.
- Grasp the two legs of the lobster, cross them and hold them tightly. This will immobilize them as you can slip the rubber bands off the claws. Drop them into the steaming water. Cover with a tight fitting lid and steam for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Remove from pot and place them upside down until they are cool enough to handle.
